The Confederation Building at 457 Main Street is a Heritage Restoration project for Shindico with consultant Crosier Kilgour. This was a heritage restoration involving the repointing of caulked or deteriorating terra cotta joints, repairs to the terra cotta cladding, and repair and replacement of terra cotta segments in the cornice. New detailed terracotta coatings were installed to match the existing material.
This success of this project led to B&F Masonry receiving the Heritage Winnipeg Conservation Award for Excellence in 2018.
